It’s with deep sorrow to witness the intention of delayed justice taking its course and almost planting a seedling of hatred which is not worth for human integrated understandings of justice. Every day and night you could feel the voice of beloved brothers and sisters roaming up and down advocating for injustice.
It’s actually no news to us that our own ‘leaders’ turn against us and the most weak members who they should stand firmly and defend. It’s very embarrassing that the problem could not stop simply because of us, in saying this I may refer to the suffering of our brothers and sisters in the IDP, suffering as a result of exercising their democratic right by voting in 2007 general election.
They persevere to the scorching sun, indiscrinative cold and yearning for justice for close to four years in the IDP Camps and yet others are yearning for power on the other side. What a world of unfairness, where leader’s pattern of thinking and reasoning are confined around power and glory at the expence of the simple countrymen. It’s so ironical that the causative agents of inhuman atrocities are the same ‘leaders’ enjoying all there citzens rights while the victims suffer in vain.
Who will stand and defend the unprivileged men and women of this country. After only afew months and some days just after passing the new constitution ‘minor Kenyans’ felt and believed that they are finally salvaged from the hands of a few power driven ‘machines’, that now the country would be governed in consideration to the new constitution but it’s so unfortunate that the newly born baby is under attack and stands avery awkward situation of defilement (the new constitution).
With the naming and summoning of the famous Ocampo six to face the International justice could be a leap of justice to the victims. The question that one ponders in mind is whether its worth to complain of the international driven justice seekers to make justice take its course. After all the freedom and space were granted by the international community for the country to set its own independent vibrant and effective judicial system, ‘we’ doubted our own ability to set the proper mechanisms and instead opted for the international criminal court to undertake the process, arguing that we should not be vague and choose the Hague.
Flip the other the side of the coin and see the difference. Advocating being vague instead of maintaining our previous stand, Why must we confuse our conscious. Its worth for our political class to learn how to be honest, what they are doing is breeding impunity at the expence of justice. I urge them to learn to be tolerant and honest, this country belongs to the people and not selected few, and one day few and weak members will turn against them. May the intuition of understanding befall upon them.
